After learning how cheerleading levels work, it's only natural to ask the next question:"If I join Barcelona Bears... which team would I train with?"
The answer depends on several factors: your age, your previous experience, and the skills you have at the time.
It doesn't matter if you've never played a sport before or if you come from gymnastics, parkour, or tumbling. At Barcelona Bears, we have teams where every athlete can learn, enjoy the sport, and continue progressing at their own pace.
Our Cheerleading Teams at Barcelona Bears
🧸 Teddy Bears (Ages 4–8)

Teddy Bears is our youngest team and the perfect place for children to discover cheerleading from scratch.
Through fun and engaging activities, athletes develop coordination, balance, teamwork, and the fundamental skills of cheerleading while making new friends and building confidence.
Because every great cheerleader started with their very first practice.
✨ Sassy Bears (Ages 8–12 · Level 2)
Sassy Bears compete at Level 2, where athletes continue developing their stunts, jumps, and more advanced cheerleading skills.
This is the stage where confidence, teamwork, and technique begin to make a real difference.
🔥 Extreme Bears (Ages 12–18 · Level 3)

Extreme Bears are the next step in our athlete development pathway.
They compete at Level 3, where routines become more technically demanding and training sessions become increasingly challenging.
At this stage, commitment, consistency, and hard work help athletes continue to grow and reach new goals.
🌟 Beginners (+16 · Non-Competitive)
Have you never tried cheerleading before?
Then this is the perfect place to start.
Our Beginners team is designed for anyone aged 16 and over who wants to discover cheerleading from scratch, with no pressure to compete.
You'll learn the fundamentals of cheerleading at your own pace in a supportive environment where the priority is having fun, building confidence, and becoming part of a team.
Because it's never too late to start a new sport.
💥 Scratch (Coed · Ages 16+ · Level 4)

Our Scratch team competes in Level 4 Coed, where male and female athletes train and compete together.
The team has also earned a Summit Bid, qualifying for one of the world's most prestigious cheerleading championships for Levels 1–4 teams.
At this level, strength, synchronisation, and trust between teammates are essential for continued success.
🌍 Revolution (Ages 16+ · Level 5 All Girl)
Revolution competes in Level 5 All Girl, one of the most advanced divisions in All Star Cheer.
Their dedication and hard work led them to an incredible 8th-place finish at the Cheerleading World Championships, proving that consistent effort can take you to the highest level.
🏆 Legacy (Ages 16+ · Level 7 Non-Tumbling)
Talking about Legacy means talking about history.
Our Legacy team competes in Level 7 Non-Tumbling, the highest level in this All Star Cheer division.
In 2026, they were crowned World Champions, an achievement that reflects years of dedication, discipline, and outstanding teamwork.
Because champions aren't born.
They're built—one practice at a time.
